It’s all over the Blogosphere about the $10 Gillette Proglide wyb Cartridge or Disposable coupon that’s in the today’s Smart Source (12/2).
Apparently, people are talking about this coupon because it is working on the Gillette Gift Set w/the ProGlide Razor inside the gift sets and the coupon is being reported to work at Walmart and Rite Aid. So if you need a gift idea for that great man in your life I may choose this one.
Also, the $10 coupon does not expire until 1/31/13!!!
If your area stores (CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid or grocery store) sells the early edition of the Sunday paper on Saturdays, grab the paper tonight because it’s cheaper then buying the paper on Sunday.
Also, be sure to check the inside of the newspapers to ensure that the coupon inserts are inside. How is this a potential moneymaker when you must purchase blades or a disposable to get the gift set free?
One reader purchased the gift set which include both the razors and cartridges as stated on the coupon and found them for only $5 at there local Walmart.
It works, I just did the deal an hour ago. Was lucky to find 1 of the bundle pack proglide razor :)just paid tax only.
the Gift pack includes 2 blades just like the regular razor packages do, but it also contains a small shave cream and some have a shave prep. This does not mean you are purchasing both the razor and cartridges as required per the coupon. It is standard for the ProGlide to contain 2 cartridges in the package. The Blogger you thank on your post actually does not advocate using this coupon for ONLY the gift set. The point of the post was to say that the gift set qualifies as the ProGlide which you can get $10 off of with coupon, not just a regular ProGlide package.
If the coupon was not intended for this product, wouldn't the coupon beep and offer a decline on the item since the P&G coupons now offer the new coupon bar codes to avoid the misuse of the coupons?
Coupon Joel-READ what the coupon says...It says you will get $10 off the purchase of the Proglide (which the gift set is covering as it contains the Proglide) WHEN YOU BUY a disposable or cartridge. Coupon barcodes are not foolproof by any means. There is always someone who is going to find a way to misuse a coupon to their benefit. This is one of those situations. It is up to us to READ the coupon wording and guidelines and FOLLOW them! Promoting and encouraging dishonest coupon deals discredits you as a coupon blogger!
